FAQ

Is there a dress code when visiting the temples?

Yes, there is a dress code for visiting Angkor Wat and the other temples. It is important to dress appropriately. Please wear long pants that cover your knees and shirts that cover your shoulders. Skirts, short shorts, and tank tops are not allowed inside the temple grounds. If your clothing is too revealing, you may be turned away.

What is included in the tour price?

Your tour price includes transportation to and between destinations, and return to your hotel. Tour price also includes a guided tour by an officially licensed English speaking tour guide.

Are meals included in the tour price?

Meals are on your own account. We typically stop at a local restaurant, where a traditional meal is typically less than $10 per person.

How many people are typically on a tour?

This can vary depending on your tour. A private tour can be as small as one person, whereas a group tour can include up to six people.

What is the fitness level required for a tour?

There is usually a lot of walking or hiking involved in a tour, so visitors should be in reasonably good shape. Visitors should also be able to climb steps in order to enjoy the complete “temple experience”.

Are there optional excursions available?

Private tours can be quite flexible. If there is something particular you would like to see along your tour, or a special stop you would like to make along the way, just ask me in advance and I will do my best to accommodate you. There may be additional costs involved.

Join-in tours are less flexible, as it can be more difficult to cater to the diverse needs of a large group within the allotted tour time.
