Details & Itinerary

Embark on an unforgettable journey through the majestic Angkor Complex, where history and beauty intertwine. Discover the iconic Angkor Wat, a masterpiece of architecture and spirituality. Explore the enigmatic Bayon Temple, renowned for its captivating stone faces, and delve into the grandeur of Baphuon Temple, a true gem of Khmer artistry. Stroll along the Trail of the Elephants, where ancient kings once paraded, and wander the Trail of the Leper King, steeped in mystery and legend. End Day One at Angkor Wat, perhaps the most iconic temple in all of Cambodia. 

Your second day begins at Preah Kahn, one of the most impressive temples in the Angkor Archeological Park. Its ancient ruins lie tangled amid the roots of silk-cotton trees, its perimeter guarded by 72 stone bird creatures. Then it is on to Neak Pean, the unique “water temple”. Ancient travelers would once pilgrimage to bathe in its sacred waters. Next, is Ta Som, one of the last major temples built at Angkor before the fall of the mighty Khmer empire. Your day ends at Mebon Temple, a well-preserved example of temple mountain architecture.

Day One

Pick-up at your Siem Reap hotel.

Hotel pick-up at 8:30 AM. Time to be confirmed by email no later than 24 hours in advance.

Bayon Temple

Perhaps the most enigmatic of all Angkor temples. This Buddhist monument is renowned for its 216 gigantic smiling face which adorn its 54 towers.

Baphuon

This Temple Mount was built in the 11th century, whose restoration, led by French architects ended not so long ago.

Trail of the Elephants

A terrace some 350 meters long, once was used for royal audiences and public ceremonies.

Terrace of the Leper King

This terrace was built in the 12th century and adorned with magnificent Apsara sculptures.

Angkor Wat

The largest religious monument on Earth. This wondrous architectural achievement, will impress you not just by its structural elements but also by its artistic detail.

Day Two

Preah Kahn

One of the most impressive temples in the Angkor Archeological Park. Its ancient ruins lie tangled amid the roots of silk-cotton trees.

Neak Poan

Also known as the “water temple”. Ancient travelers would once pilgrimage to its sacred waters seeking both spiritual and physical rejuvenation.

Ta Som

The last of the major temples built at Angkor before the fall of the mighty Khmer empire in 1431.

Mebon Temple

Built on a manmade island, Mebon Temple is famed for its “temple mountain” architecture.
